The Strategy team within Energy Networks at E.ON translates market, environmental, and technological developments into actionable strategies. Through our business strategy, we drive the company’s strategic direction, ensuring alignment with business goals and real-world implementation. With a strong focus on cost efficiency and market adaptability, we are enabling a sustainable and competitive energy transition.

About the position
As Strategy Advisor you will play a key part in driving our strategic direction, translating market trends and industry developments into actionable insights. You will not only analyse complex data but also ensure that strategic initiatives are effectively implemented within our organization. With a strong understanding of power grids, energy systems, and technical frameworks, you will help shape the future of our business. Collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will bring external perspectives into our strategic function and ensure alignment with our overarching business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead in-depth analyses of market trends, regulatory frameworks, and technological developments to provide a strong outside-in perspective.
  • Translate external insights into strategic recommendations that enhance cost efficiency and affordability.
  • Collaborate with core team managers and cross-functional teams to align strategy with business goals.
  • Present findings to senior leadership and contribute to high-impact decision-making.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with:

  • A Master's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge from the energy buisiness preferable within networks with minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic analysis, management consulting, or a similar role,
  • Deep analytical skills to interpret complex market and industry trends.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools with a data-driven approach.
  • Extensive experience in communicating complex topics with clarity and confidence, both in written and verbal formats.

You structure market, environmental, and technical insights bringing clarity and direction to strategic initiatives. You collaborate across functions to drive alignment and ensure cost-effectiveness remains central to strategic decisions. Navigating complex projects and integrating diverse perspectives, you play a key role in shaping our future.
