Domain Architect

Location: Malmö, Skåne County, Sweden

Job description

Your role

As a Domain Architect, you will play a significant role in the development of E.ON’s digital services by creating smart and customer-focused solutions. The sales domain landscape you will be responsible for includes our systems for managing customer and offering-related data. This primarily involves billing and direct communication with both existing and potential customers.

You will be responsible for the technical direction within your domain landscape, ensuring that our systems interact optimally. With one foot in business and the other in technology, you will lead strategic initiatives, drive change, and future-proof our solutions by assessing how new technologies can be applied to support our goals. You will oversee the overall solution delivery, ensuring alignment with the target architecture and IT strategy.

On a daily basis, you will collaborate with architects and development teams within IT, as well as stakeholders from different business areas, to translate needs into sustainable solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating, maintaining, and being accountable for a technical roadmap within your area of responsibility
  • Developing and owning domain blueprints for future business and target architectures
  • Driving change within your IT domain and ensuring that the architecture aligns with our IT strategy
  • Leading activities and decision-making related to solutions and application needs within the domain and development area
  • Communicating and conveying architecture and solutions at different levels to various stakeholders

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we expect you to have several years of experience in IT architecture roles and possess the following skills:

  • Solid expertise in development and architecture
  • Experience working with sales processes, from managing product catalogs, leads, and campaigns to partner sales and order management
  • Experience in developing and utilizing information and data models in architectural work
  • Experience with applied integration solutions (pub-sub, HTTP, ReST, JSON, and other technologies and standards we use for system communication) and event-driven architecture (EDA)
  • Good knowledge of Salesforce, preferably in combination with SAP, is highly advantageous

In this role, you will collaborate with many different stakeholders, making your communication skills and ability to listen especially important. You thrive on creating shared understanding and work in a structured way to find the best solutions—both for the customer and for the long-term development of the domain.

To enjoy this role, you should be able to manage a dynamic agenda and quickly adapt to new situations. You appreciate working in a team, naturally take responsibility, and can lead when needed. At the same time, you know when to involve others and delegate responsibility to achieve the best results.

You are pedagogical and can clearly and simply explain complex relationships to different audiences. With a strategic and visionary perspective, you drive development forward, take ownership of the vision, and ensure that it is communicated in an inspiring and understandable way.
